Melinda started her career in cosmetology as a junior in high school while living in upstate New York. (Having a mother who went to beauty school in London, with the famous Vidal Sasson, introduced her to the beauty industry at a young age.) After moving to Arizona in the 80s, she continued her education in Scottsdale, where she worked
Melinda started her career in cosmetology as a junior in high school while living in upstate New York. (Having a mother who went to beauty school in London, with the famous Vidal Sasson, introduced her to the beauty industry at a young age.) After moving to Arizona in the 80s, she continued her education in Scottsdale, where she worked for many years as a hair stylist, aestitition, make-up artist, and educator. She owned and operated "Connections" in Tempe Arizona from 1993-1995, an innovative consulting and referral business to help clients improve their looks and well being. She then took a break from her career to focus on family. After relocating to Wisconsin, she started her training in 2002, with Cyberhair and hair restoration, being mentored by Bob Benishek of Wisconsin Hairgoods. Melinda and her family then moved to Colorado and she continued her work, with Cyberhair and hair replacement, with the mentorship of Dee Mitchell of Professional Hair Institute of Colorado until April 2018. She started FACE EVERYTHING in Westminster, Colorado in May 2018.

Having a family member with alopecia, and years of education and experience, have given Melinda insight on how to help others solve their individual hair loss concerns. "It was told to me, 'trying on wigs in a salon is like trying on underwear with the salesperson in the dressing room'. It is my goal to respectfully help consider all solution options and find what will best suit our client needs." Melinda has started a support group to help those who suffer with hair loss connect to others who have similar issues. "whether it is alopecia, trichotillomania, cancer, scaring, aging, medication...it doesn't matter how/why your have hair loss, the effects can be devastating. Having support from others can really help."
Melinda has also been awarded for her efforts in giving away FREE Cyberhair Private Issue Wigs to children under 18 with medically related hair loss. With the Just Live Life:kids program, Sponsored by Aderans Corp, She has saved families thousands of dollars!!
